At Whole Foods for Pets, we are passionate about feeding our companion animals a natural diet and have been doing so since 1994. Our philosophy is if the food and supplements we feed are not good enough for us, they are not good enough for our animals.
We have a track record of more than 12 years with most of these products and as breeders of champion English Springer Spaniels, we have personally observed our animals thrive on them.
We believe strongly that diet has an enormous influence on human health and our pets are no different. The outcome of genetic predisposition for certain diseases can be greatly influenced by diet. When health is maintained and enhanced by nutrition, most often these predispositions will not manifest.
 Lauretta I. Duthie, founder of Whole Foods for Pets, has worked in the pet food industry since 1984. She was the Senior Account Supervisor for a national premium dog and cat food manufacturer and wrote all the nutritional information for both consumer and trade press. She has also represented a major natural pet supplement company, working in the field with both retailers and consumers. As a professional writer, her feature stories have been published in national newspapers and magazines. She has been exhibiting and breeding champion English Springer Spaniels since 1987.
